Doha: Al Wakra service center of the Ministry of Interior has received about 73,000 visitors. It issued 44,000 residency permits in the past year.
Captain Jassim Muhammad Al Ali, an officer at the Al Wakra Services Center, said that the center has issued about 104,000 visit visas and 44,000 residency permits.
Speaking to Qatar Radio about the center’s services during 2021, he said that the total number of visitors reached 73,000 during 2021.
He pointed out that the center has implemented comprehensive system to simplify procedures for visitors. The system makes it is possible to facilitate and conduct all transactions at one counter instead of visiting more than one counter, even if the services are different, whether it is renewal of residence, registration of an establishment or entry visa.
He also indicated that the center provides special service for elderly and people with special needs to help them complete their transactions.
